Guidelines for Authors

HAPICOM Nigeria Limited, publishers of educational books, short stories, and autobiographies outlines below, guidelines for writing and submission of manuscripts for publishing.


Authors are expected to submit at least the first three chapters of the book they intend to publish. Manuscripts must be submitted in MS Word format.

Authors are expected to submit a synopsis which summarizes the content of the whole book along with their manuscript Authors are also expected to include their short resume with specific reference to working experience and educational qualifications.


Authors writing educational books must write in line with the current Federal Government curriculum on education which can be obtained through Hapicom Nigeria Limited office in Abuja or by e-mail.


CATEGORY A – Authors who submit manuscript for publication.
Soft copy of manuscripts must be submitted in line with above guideline.
The publishing right in this case resides in Hapicom Nig Limited( the publishers)
Authors are to relinquish all merchandising rights to the publisher.
Authors are to receive 10 percent royalties on sales of their books from the publisher at the end of financial year.


CATEGORY B – Authors who write for the publisher
Authors are to submit manuscript in soft copy to the publisher in a specific period of time .
Authors are to receive honorarium for manuscript preparation at the end of the work.

Authors are to facilitate meetings and discussions on the title.
Author are to relinquish ownership rights on the titles -but will be able to make reference to the work in any literature and academic journals.
Authors are to receive 2 percent commission based on sales of the titles at the end of every financial year.
